We are seeking dependable, skilled tradespeople with carpentry and outdoor construction experience to join our field crews. This role is intended for individuals who take pride in quality work, understand jobsite accountability, and are interested in growing into crew lead or management positions within our trail maintenance teams.
What You’ll Do
Build, repair, and maintain trail structures including boardwalks, bridges, and related outdoor structures
Read basic plans, follow build specifications, and execute projects with attention to detail
Operate hand tools and landscaping equipment (weed eater, blower, chainsaw, etc.)
Safely operate or assist with heavy equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, etc.), training available
Work outdoors in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
Travel to local and regional job sites (occasional overnight travel)
What We’re Looking For
Must be proficient with basic carpentry tools (power saw, drill/driver, measuring tape)
Ability to read and interpret building plans
Background in landscaping, construction, trail work, or outdoor labor preferred
Ability to work independently, problem-solve on site, and take ownership of tasks
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a small crew
Physically capable of manual labor in outdoor environments
Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
Commercial driving experience preferred

8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, weather dependent
